Letters to Edwin Carty Ranck, 1924, 1926.

A letter, 1824 October 17, discusses Coburn's role in "The Farmer's Wife" and Ranck's ill health and conscientious work; and expresses pleasure at Ranck's success, and sends some reviews for him to use "in your good little paper." A letter, 1826 November 14, written by Ivah Wills Coburn in both their names, discusses Coburn's appreciation for Ranck's standing for "the best & cleanest & highest in the theatre" in his criticisms and playwriting, and the difficulties in maintaining these standards.
